Inverter uses frequency conversion technology and microelectronics technology, by changing the frequency mode of the working power supply of the electric spindle, according to the actual needs of the electric spindle to provide the power supply voltage needed, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving and speed regulation. The selection of inverter should match with the range of voltage, power, frequency and so on of the electric spindle, so as to play the maximum effect.
1. To set the inverter, first set the reference frequency of the inverter. The reference frequency of theinverter is set according to the highest frequency of the spindle motor. If the reference frequency of the inverter is not set (the reference frequency of the inverter is set to 50Hz at the factory), the spindle motor will burn out at the beginning of operation
2. The highest frequency, turning frequency and corresponding voltage of the inverter shall be set according to the curve in the operation manual
3. The current of the inverter is set according to the rated current of the electric spindle
4. The overload current is set at 120% of the rated current of the electric spindle
The overload trip level is set at 100%, the overload trip time is set at 5S, the carrier frequency is set according to the power of the motorized spindle, the less than 10kW motorized spindle is set at 8kHz, the more than 10kW motorized spindle is set at 5KHz, the speed up and speed down time are set at 10s-20s, and the speed up time shall be extended in case of protection when the starting current exceeds the rated current.
After the power supply is connected, the frequency converter starts. we suggest that you should observe whether the rotation direction of the electric spindle is consistent with the direction indicated by the electric spindle. If the rotation direction is inconsistent, you should shut down the machine immediately and check the three-phase power supply mode of the converter and the electric spindle. It is forbidden to operate the electric spindle in the wrong rotation direction.
